ISO 9001 Certification Upchurch Scientific has a long tradition of commitment to quality. That's why we applied for ISO 9001:1994 Certification in 1995. Not only did we achieve this certification on the first attempt; we did so with zero non-conformances. We have a well-established internal auditing team made up of employees from different departments within Upchurch Scientific. It is their job to audit other departments as well as our manufacturing processes throughout the year in addition to performing their regular job. They help uncover and report potential problems that may affect the quality system, and help confirm everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing to support the quality system. This team's effort is one way we strive to achieve our company's quality policy of "Complete Customer Satisfaction – Nothing Less". So it is no surprise that we have continued to maintain our perfect record of zero non-conformances through all official surveillance and re-certification audits.
